*Note: Live Praying Mantis Egg Cases are currently out of stock/backordered. Praying mantis eggs cases are no longer available for the year. Insect Lore has temporarily disabled the order function. Look for them here once we receive a shipment from the mantis mommies in 2010.*
Anywhere from 75 to 200 mantises will hatch from one of these egg cases! The females sometimes grow over 5" long.
Release most or all of your mantids when they hatch to forage for garden pests on their own. You may keep one or two, but be prepared to separate them, and to find very small insects, such as aphids, to feed them.
Allow 2 to 6 weeks to hatch. Cases sold individually (four pictured here). Instruction and information sheet included. Food is not included.
